The ST90 is a great little bike and a nice step
up in size from a CT70. The larger wheels make it more stable at high
speeds. The weakness of these bikes is the 3-speed transmission.
The gear ratio from 2nd to 3rd is too large and first gear typically fails
at around 3000-4000 miles. The S90, SL90 and CL90 engine will bolt into the ST90 frame and they have a 4 speed transmission and manual clutch. |
